The denim fabric originates from the Maritime Republic of Genoa. The term Jeans (or Blue Jeans) is believed to derive directly from the French words "Bleu de Gênes" or "Genoa Blue" in Italian. In fact, once, all over the ancient world, it was customary to give the fabrics the name of the place of production.
The fact that the typical cut of 5-pocket jeans has been widely made and has been successful with denim fabric, has led to confusion of concepts: the term denim indicates the fabric, and not necessarily blue; The term jeans identifies the cut of the trousers, regardless of the fabric used (there are even leather).

The jeans was born as sturdy work trousers. In '800 Levi Strauss together with Jacob Davis create the famous "blue jeans". With the passing of time for the Beat Generation and in particular for the artist Jack Kerouac become a symbol of rebellion and unconventionality. Starting from the '90s it will become a garment to be worn on any occasion creating garments with applications, rhinestones and particular washes.
Jeans Models:
SKINNY JEANS: Definitely the most adherent of all the models on the market. They perfectly follow the shapes and wrap the legs and buttocks as if they were a second skin.
SLIM FIT: The Jeans Slim Fit are adherent, follow the shapes up to the calf, but in the last part of the leg remain slightly more straight without adhering perfectly.
REGULAR: They are the most classic and resist the sudden changes of trend. They have a rather straight leg and exalt the shapes without making difficult the movements.
STRAIGHT JEANS: They are jeans with straight leg, not so wide. The width of the leg remains unchanged from the buttocks up to the ankle.
KICK FLARE: Adherent up to the knee it widens to the height of the calf as if it were a bell.
FLARE JEANS: They are the most scampanato model among all. The leg widens starting from the knee forming a sort of "bell-shaped" shape.
BOOTCUT: Halfway between Flare and Straigh, they are less flared than the first and less straight than the second. The Bootcuts tighten slightly at knee height and then widen again to accommodate the boot (hence their name), but without exaggeration.
WIDE: When the leg gets even wider, even if it remains a paw, we can talk about Wide Jeans. Wide from the buttocks to the bottom hem, these pants always reach the ground. Their length often makes it necessary to wear them with high heels.
BOYFRIEND JEANS: These jeans are named after him because they look like they’re from his closet. They are wide on the sides and wide on the leg, have a high waist and a low horse. They are almost always worn by turning the lower hem.
MOM JEANS: Soft, wide and high-waisted. I’m a model back in fashion only in recent months. Slimmer than the Boyfriend, they also have the highest horse and a less masculine cut.
BAGGY JEANS: The latest trend in fashion, Baggy Jeans made their appearance in 2019. Wide from the waist up to the ankles where they tighten slightly. They always have quite low horse and rather high waist.
