The tartan is a piece of fabric (historically made of wool) composed of stripes of bright colors, arranged according to defined schemes called "sett". These intersect with each other to form colorful chess.

The Kilt, a typical skirt, worn in ancient times by men and now entered the folklore of Scotland is made with Tartan.
Today Tartan is also called a colorful and varied fabric. Originally the fabric had a Scottish design and wool, while currently, they give this name to fabrics with checked designs but cotton, mixed or synthetic.
The real Tartan is wool of excellent quality, the woven paintings are always well combined and therefore give excellent results, both for skirts, trousers or coats, capes and so on.

A tartan motif is at the root of the success of Burberry, the English brand that has been able to remain a classic and at the same time also be a protagonist of the contemporary fashion scene. In the 1920s he introduced the tartan pattern "Burberry Check" in the lining of his raincoats. Since then this motif has become an immediately recognizable fashion sign. In the Fall/Winter season tartan is a fashion trend and is used by brands in extremely creative versions.
